Maintenance and Cleaning

Bath Mat Care Guide
To ensure the long-lasting, healthy, and aesthetic use of our 100% cotton textured mats, which are handcrafted and finished with elegant lace details, please carefully follow the care steps below.

1. Pre-Wash Cleaning
Before washing, gently vacuum your mat with a vacuum cleaner or a soft brush to remove accumulated dust, hair, and loose fibers from the surface. Be gentle with the lace areas.

2. Washing Before First Use
Before the first use, wash your mat separately from other laundry, at a low temperature (max. 30°C) and on a delicate cycle. This is ideal for initial cleaning while protecting the lace and cotton texture.

3. Cold Machine Wash (30°C)
Choose a delicate wash program and a maximum water temperature of 30°C.
Avoid washing light and dark colored items together.
To maintain the mat's shape, do not overload the machine; allow it to move freely.
It is recommended to use a laundry net to prevent damage to the lace areas.

4. Avoid Chemical Products
Products that should not be used:
Bleach
Oxygen-based stain removers
Detergents containing harsh chemicals

These substances can damage the lace and cotton texture, leading to color fading and deterioration of the fabric.

5. Do Not Tumble Dry
Do not tumble dry your mat.
Instead, lay it flat on a surface, preferably in the shade, to air dry naturally.
Be careful not to expose the lace sections directly to sunlight.

6. Ironing
For wrinkles formed after drying:
Turn your mat inside out and gently iron it at a low temperature without steam.
Avoid applying high heat directly to the lace details.

7. Lace Protection
To maintain the shape of the lace edges:
Gently shape the lace edges with your hands while they are slightly damp after washing.
Avoid pulling the lace or letting it dry in a crumpled state.
If ironing is necessary, it should always be done from the reverse side and at a low temperature.

8. Do Not Dry Clean
Our products are not suitable for dry cleaning. The chemicals used can damage the lace and cotton textures.

Extra Tip:
Do not leave your mat on damp surfaces for extended periods. Regular airing helps preserve the product's freshness and prevents odor and mildew formation.
