Maintenance and Cleaning
  • Bath Mat Care Guide
    To ensure the long-lasting, healthy, and aesthetic use of our 100% cotton textured mats, which are handcrafted and finished with elegant lace details, please carefully follow the care steps below.

    1. Pre-Wash Cleaning
    Before washing, gently vacuum your mat with a vacuum cleaner or a soft brush to remove accumulated dust, hair, and loose fibers from the surface. Be gentle with the lace areas.

    2. Washing Before First Use
    Before first use, wash your mat separately from other laundry, at a low temperature (max. 30°C) and on a delicate cycle. This is ideal for initial cleaning while protecting the lace and cotton texture.

    3. Cold Machine Wash (30°C)
  • Choose a delicate wash cycle and a maximum water temperature of 30°C.
  • Avoid washing light and dark colored items together.
  • To maintain the mat's shape, do not overload the machine; allow it to move freely.
  • It is recommended to use a laundry bag to protect the lace areas.

    4. Avoid Chemical-Based Products
    Products not to be used:
  • Bleach (chlorine bleach)
  • Oxygen-based stain removers
  • Detergents containing harsh chemicals

    These substances can damage the lace and cotton texture, leading to color fading and deterioration of the fabric.

    5. Do Not Tumble Dry
    Do not tumble dry your mat.
  • Instead, lay it flat to dry naturally, preferably in the shade.
  • Be careful not to expose lace areas to direct sunlight.

    6. Ironing
    For wrinkles that occur after drying:
  • Turn your mat inside out and gently iron it at a low temperature with no steam.
  • Avoid applying high heat directly to lace details.

    7. Lace Protection
  • To maintain the shape of the lace edges:
  • After washing, gently shape the lace edges with your hands when they are slightly damp.
  • Avoid stretching the lace or leaving it to dry in a wrinkled state.
  • If ironing is necessary, it must be done from the reverse side and at a low temperature.

    8. Do Not Dry Clean
    Our products are not suitable for dry cleaning. The chemicals used can damage lace and cotton textures.

    Additional Tip:
    Do not leave your mat on damp surfaces for extended periods. Regular ventilation preserves the product's freshness and prevents odors and mildew formation.
